Fall and The Autumn Equinox

The autumn equinox has finally come and gone. As we dive into autumn, allow yourself to feel the excitement of the change of seasons. It is in our blood to remember this very busy time preparing for winter. Is the meme of "basic white bitch" (misplaced enthusiasm for pumpkin spice and flannel tunics) actually a faint blood memory for those of European decent to feel the anticipation of fall? I encourage women and men alike to dive deeper into their roots and to look closer at the European history behind Halloween, Samhian, and other folk traditions surrounding October 31st and November 1st. These ancient holidays run deep in European culture and tradition. Remembering who we are and where we came from is the key to living a powerful and joyful life. Complacency is poison, a return to traditionalism is the antidote.
