How To Make Berry Jam
Many of us have fond memories of our mothers and grandmothers canning produce and making jam in the summer months. This tradition is a very cost effective way to preserve fruits and vegetables for long term storage. Being able to control what ingredients are used is another key reason to do it yourself! This recipe uses organic cane sugar (not GMO white sugar!) You can also incorporate honey or another healthy sweetener of your choice. Use this basic template to make not only strawberry jam but jams and jellies made from any berry that is in season in your location. Complacency is poison, but a return to traditionalism is the antidote.
